April 27, 2017 – Coincraft, one of the oldest and largest coin dealers in the U.K., has announced the appointment of four new members of staff and the launch of its new website with over 3,000 products available now and another 10,000 to be added by the end of the year.
Philip Skingley, formerly head of the Book Department at Spink & Son for over 20 years where he also managed the Coin Department, has been brought on board to oversee the development of our new website. He is enthusiastic about the new site. ‘With a clearer layout, high quality images and new tools such as the image magnifier and ability to pay using PayPal I am confident that both new and established clients will enjoy using the new site.’ The website will showcase coins and banknotes which are not available in Coincraft’s 38 annual publications. A large selection of Paper Money, including British, Provincial and World notes together with Ancient, British and World coins, medals and tokens are already available. Coincraft also has one of the largest listings of old cheques on the website.
Jennifer Mulholland, also formerly of Spink, and more recently Auction Manager at A H Baldwin’s joins to oversee the administration of the busy mail order team which processes around 4,000 orders a month. She will also manage the firm’s increased media relations and presence on social media. Coincraft can now be found on Twitter and on Facebook which will showcase some of the fantastic coins available and feature news and articles from Coincraft staff.
Isabelle Marion will be heading the accounts department. She is highly experienced having previously managed the accounts of several companies.
Christina MacDonald, who has previous experience in retail numismatics at Baldwin’s, joins the shop team to develop her interest in ancient coins and antiquities.
