Exceptional Asian rarities are set to star in Heritage’s Hong Kong Coin and Currency Auction. Singapore and People’s Republic of China coins take center stage at Heritage’s semi-annual Hong Kong auction, December 7-9.

In the upcoming Gadoury Auction on December 3, 2016 a large collection of gold coins will be auctioned off. Thematically, the spectrum ranges from Republican aurei to an almost complete series of Chinese Gold Pandas.

The 44th auction of Münzen & Medaillen GmbH, Weil am Rhein, on 25th November 2016 in Stuttgart is highlighted by a collection of Greek coins with excellent provenances, and a series of rare and superb brakteates.

On Sunday, November 13, 2016 the second Exclusive Ancient Art Auction will take place. 63 exclusive objects from the Mediterranean world and Egypt are on offer. Exclusive Ancient Art Auction is a cooperation of IADAA members continuing the tradition of BAAF.

London Coin Galleries Ltd. will hold their first electronic auction closing on 10 November 2016. Spanning across 801 lots and with over £300,000 estimate, the sale includes several interesting collections.

CNG presents Auction 386 featuring an exceptional Greek section, a selection of Alexander-type drachms, electrum hektai and other denominations of Kyzikos, Mytilene, and Phokaia. The auction closes on 9 November 2016.

In the autumn of 2016, Heidelberger Münzhandlung will conduct two auctions: Auction 69 comprising the entire range of numismatics with a focus laid on Germany, and Auction 70 offering an almost complete collection of silver coins from the German Empire.

Following the Lückger collection auction house Peus will offer in their auction 218 in November a special collection of rare Roman issues of the 3rd c. AD. In the general section collectors will find some exquisite modern rarities of the 16th and 17th c.

The overall estimate of 934,000 € for 868 lots at Peus’ autumn sale resulted in a total hammer price of 1,713,000 €, i.e. an increase of 83 %. Above all, it were the collection’s peculiarity and outstanding quality which encouraged the bidders.
