June 23, 2016 – On Friday evening of 10 June 2016 coin dealer John Aiello (Educational Coin Co.) was the victim of a burglary in West Palm Beach, FL (USA). According to the Numismatic Crime Information Center the suspects were driving a silver Honda with paper tags and smashed a window of Mr Aiello’s vehicle. They took a coin collection from the trunk. The collection included many of the 19th century US issues, obsolete banknotes from most States, fractional currency and Civil War Confederate currency. There was also a large amount of Florida and State of Florida Obseletes, along with New Jersey, Georgia, and Louisiana.
