April 10, 2014 – The Bank of England has launched a ‘Bank of England Banknotes’ app that aims in particular at businesses and the police. It is free to download and enables you to view all current Bank of England banknotes and their security features using its interactive touch screen guide. For instance, did you know that there are eight security features on the £20 note?
