March 6, 2014 – This May, the Oriental Numismatic Society invites to their annual meeting in Tübingen. The programme has not yet been agreed on and the organisers appeal for active participation and contributions.
This year’s ONS meeting in Tübingen, dedicated traditionally to Islamic and immediate pre-Islamic numismatics, will take place in the lecture room of the Dept. of Oriental and Islamic studies of the Orient-Asia-Institute of Tübingen University.
The programme will be fixed about a month before the meeting and Dr Lutz Ilisch invites everybody to participate. He asks to consider also if you could contribute a paper to the programme which would help to keep the meeting attractive. The programme is oriented to discussion and no immediate publication is planned. Consequently it is an ideal venue to present observations, new finds and work in progress. Dr Lutz Ilisch is grateful for contributions to the programme and kindly asks those who would be prepared to contact him either through e-mail or telephone.
You can contact Mr Ilisch via email.
