April 5, 2012 – A serious accident occured in Ontario on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. A Brinks truck hit a jutting rock on Highway 11. The truck was “opened” like a can causing its cargo to be scattered over the street: fresh minted Canadian coins worth between $3 million and §5 million!

In the accident two other vehicles were involved. The two Brinks drivers were being treated in a nearby hospital because of “life-threatening” injuries. Police secured immediately the street, and an officer stated: “We are going to be using magnets and other less sophisticated means of collecting the cargo.”
