May 23, 2013 – French numismatist Georges Depeyrot has uploaded onto his profile at Academia.edu two videos with numismatic content. Through interviews, images and visits at historical sites he presents the world of Roman coins in one film, Medieval numismatics in the other. The films are of 35 resp. 42 minutes and give lively and in an entertaining way knowledge of coin history.
A shorter video presents Mr Depeyrot’s DAMIN project that investigates on the depreciation of silver in the nineteenth century.
The videos are free and they are really worth watching!
