August 12, 2010 – The Akademisches Kunstmuseum, collection of ancient objects of the university of Bonn has opened their virtual coin cabinet on July 20, 2010. Now, about 3.350 objects of the collection are easily accessible for collectors and scholars.

The collection focuses on about 2000 Roman coins from Franz Pick, famous German archeologist and excavator of the Roman legionary fortress north of Bonn. The majority of the coins might come from this very place.
