September 21, 2017 – In the middle of the 18th century, Georg Heinrich Sander, a Leipzig-based merchant, assembled a major coin collection, which he documented in a lavish three-volume publication. His books still provide us with interesting insights, some of which we would like to share with you.
A collector of our era found Sander’s contributions so entertaining that he reconstructed this collection. It will be auctioned in the upcoming Künker Fall Auctions under the heading “Collection of a History Enthusiast”.
