Greek, and Southern German Coins at Münzen & Medaillen GmbH
Auction 49 of Münzen & Medaillen GmbH will take place online on November 20th, 2020. Registration for live bidding is only possible until Thursday, 19 November, 6 pm CET. There will be offered a collection of ancient Greek coins of outstanding quality. They were bought during the sixties to nineties of the last century, many of them from our parent company Münzen und Medaillen AG Basel in Switzerland. They were collected as pieces of art, and therefore they are in good condition, well centered, with a nice toning, and a good pedigree.
Apart from that there will be coins from South Germany and Northern Switzerland, medieval bracteates and talers, and a few numismatic books.
The catalogue is on view on the internet on the Biddr, Numisbids and Sixbid websites. Due to Corona virus restrictions this is not a floor auction. You can send your bids through one of the above mentioned websites before November 19th, 2020, 6 pm CET. If you want to take part in live bidding during the auction you must register in advance before November 19th, 2020, 6 pm CET with Biddr who organize the live bidding. Please be aware of the fact that there is a time difference between Central European Time and other time zones which might make it necessary that you get up in the middle of the night for your live bidding.
