The Greek section of this sale features, once again, further selections from the BCD Collection of Thessaly, as well as another run of electrum hektai from Mytilene. 

Lot 362: Aes signatum quincussis (‘Ramo Secco’ bar with dolphin), circa 6th-4th cent. BC, uncertain central Italian mint. From the Andrew McCabe Collection. Extremely rare. VF. Estimate: 500 USD.

For collectors of Roman Republican, CNG is pleased to present another group of duplicates from the Andrew McCabe Collection, including an extremely rare ‘Ramo Secco’ bar with dolphin. 

Lot 529: Claudius II Gothicus, AD 268-270. Antoninianus, 3rd emission, circa mid-late AD 269(?), Cyzicus mint. From the Finn Johannessen Collection. Unpublished in the standard references with this bust type. VF. Estimate: 150 USD.
