Several important collections are represented in this sale. The auction opens with the final offering of coins from the Dr. Lawrence A. Adams Collection, focusing in particular on issues of the Indian subcontinent.
Lot 375: LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 290-280 BC. Nomos. HN Italy 1625. EF, toned, somewhat irregular flan, a little die wear. From the Camerata Romeu Collection. Estimate $500.
