Live Auction of French Banknotes at cgb
cgb offers 432 lots in his e-billet 1 sale which is dedicated to French banknotes exclusively. It presents the Collection of Assignats of M. Yannig Le Treut and the Collection of Banque de France specimens of M. Claude Fayette. Closing date of the sale is February 11, 2015.

This live auction sale will be split into two parts. The first one presents the Collection of Assignats of M. Yannig Le Treut, who managed to gather a full set of both rare and affordable banknotes.

The second part is extraordinary and presents the Collection of Banque de France specimens of M. Claude Fayette. M. Claude Fayette is and will long remain the major collector of French banknotes in the world. The sale of this collection of specimens responds to a desire to share more than 50 years of discoveries.
