78: Pisidia, Cremna. Septimius Severus. A.D. 193-211. Bronze medallion. Ex Boston MFA (number 62.244). SNG BN 1491. Fine. Estimate: $500.
… a rare Roman Provincial medallion of Septimius Severus which is Ex-Boston Museum of Fine Arts, a few scarcer emperors, including: Quietus, Nigrinian, Magnus Maximus and Johannes, a small run of Constantine era barbarous imitations. There is an excellent Carthaginian stater, high grade Alexander III tetradrachms, and a superb Ptolemy tetradrachm.
265: A marvelous Lambayeque (Sican) Dragon bottle from Peru, ca. 700-1300 AD. This exceptional example is 8″ high and features four panels depicting a shaman performing a rain ceremony. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range $450-$650.
