January 21, 2016 – The Philatelic and Numismatic Office of the Vatican City State has released its 2016 program of numismatic issues. They consist of euro coins as well as commemorative coins and medals. One prominent subject is Pope Francis who will celebrate his 80th birthday in December 2016.
