November 13, 2014 – The Norwegian coin shop Denarius experienced a coin theft at a fair arranged by the Danish Numismatic Society in Copenhagen, Denmark. The theft includes 12 gold coins from Napoleon Bonaparte up to a 2004 Turkish 25 kurush. Also stolen were one 1749 Danish silver medal, a penny from King Canute of England (1017-1023 AD), two German thalers (1586 and 1597) and a US silver dollar (peace type).
If you are able to give Denarius information that leads to the recovery of the coins, please be aware that you will be granted a reward of 10% of the recovered coins’ value. Denarius and its owner Mr Ringsrud can be contacted by email.
