October 4, 2012 – The Numismatic Crime Information Center will be conducting a Free seminar on Numismatic Crime Investigations on October 18, 2012 in Dallas, Texas in conjunction with the ANA Dallas National Money Show being held October 18-20, 2012. The seminar is being hosted by the Pantego Police Department and open to Law Enforcement Personnel Only.
The seminar is designed to provide attendees with the fundamental investigative techniques, knowledge and understanding to respond effectively to the complex challenges encountered during a numismatic crime.
Dealers and collectors are encouraged to have their local law enforcement agency participate in this educational event. Law enforcement officers may register online or contact Doug Davis at 817-705-4450 or via email.
The seminar is a one of many strategic initiatives to educate law enforcement in the area of numismatic crimes. A special thanks to the American Numismatic Association for their assistance and participation in this educational venue.
