The Minmi is the fourth coin in this exciting new five-coin series featuring Australian dinosaurs that existed in the Cretaceous Period between 112 and 102 million years ago. Minmi was a quadruped which walked on all four legs, although its hind legs were slightly longer than its front legs. At only three metres long, this dinosaur was small by armoured dinosaur standards and would have browsed on ferns and other low growing plants.

Australia / 2015 / 1 AUD / Silver .999 / 31.135 g / 40.60 mm / Mintage: 5000.

Dorothea Mackellar’s My Country is one of Australia’s most widely recited and beloved poems. Reflective of the author’s great love of the Australian landscape, the poem has become one of the most recognised and celebrated pieces of Australian poetry ever written. As a tribute to this historical poem and as homage to the stunning Australian landscapes it describes, The Perth Mint issues the first individual 1oz 99.9% pure silver rectangle coin and a four-coin set. The remaining three individual releases will be released bi-monthly.

Australia / 2015 / 0.5 AUD / Silver .999 / 15.591 g / 32.60 mm / Mintage: 5000.

The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series 2015 1/2oz Silver Proof Three-Coin Set features a trio of commemorative coins which depict symbolic images and themes from the First World War representing Australia and New Zealand’s involvement in the Gallipoli campaign of 1915. The three-coin set is part of The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series which will run over five years from 2014 to 2018. A new three-coin set will be released each year during this period each contributing to a five-year collection.

Australia / 2015 / 0.7 AUD / Silver .999 / 15.573 g / 26.60 x 37.60 mm / Mintage: 2500.

In April 1915, just eight months after Britain declared war on Germany on 4 August 1914, soldiers from Australia and New Zealand – organised into the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) – landed on the Gallipoli peninsula, with the aim of assisting in the allied effort to command the Dardanelles and to knock Ottoman Turkey out of the war. The 2015 ANZAC Coin and Stamp Set comprises of two 1/2oz proof coins, an Australia Post official stamp, and a New Zealand Post official stamp.
