5.6.2019 – Coins, Tokens and Historical Medals – Dix Noonan Webb will offer an extremely rare aureus of Allectus on June 5, 2019. Discovered in March by a detectorist, it appears to be the first Allectus gold coin reported as being found in over 50 years. It is estimated at £70,000-100,000.

17.4.2019 – Ibrahim Salem Collection of British Commonwealth Banknotes, Part I – Ibrahim Salem is a true titan of the notaphilic world, having built a collection of 150,000 notes over decades. Spink is offering a first part of the collection of British Commonwealth Notes on 17 April 2019. Over 250 selections of the notes have been certified by PMG.
20.2.2019 – Auction “out of the order” – Cayón Subastas held another auction “out of the order” in Madrid, Spain, on 20 February 2019 featuring general Spanish coins and special collections. Some items saw spectacular results like a Carlos III 8 reales 1789/8 estimated at 400 euros sold for 6,120 euros.
14.4.2019 – Silver Auction 32 – Silver Auction 32 of Munich-based auction house Savoca Coins is online. The auction features 699 lots and offers material for collectors interested in rare coins focusing on the ancient world. The live closing is going to start at 6pm CEST April 14, 2019.

28.2.2019- Joel R. Anderson Collection of US Paper Money Part IV - Stack’s Bowers Galleries offered Part IV of the Joel R. Anderson Collection of US Paper Money and achieved nearly $8 million. Thus the total prices realized for the collection raised to $34,126,980 making it the most valuable US paper money cabinet ever sold at auction.
