August 24, 2017 – The Swiss National Museum’s new blog has been online since the start of April. It provides details of historical events – also in English and French, showcases objects from the past and gives a historical context to the present day. Readers can look behind the scenes and see right up close how an exhibition is assembled or a damaged exhibit is repaired. It also contains contributions from guest authors as well as the museum’s own staff.

Whether they detail the Russian Revolution, provide historical information on the weather or share Roman beauty tips, there are no limits on the stories to be told. The blog presents exciting historical content in a contemporary style complete with text, images, sounds and videos.

Here you can find the Museum’s blog.

Of course there are also numismatic articles among them one about the kreuzer and two about counterfeits (part I / part II).

And this is the website of the Swiss National Museum.
