March 8, 2018 – Louisenthal, one of the world’s leading hologram and foil manufacturers for securities and banknotes, is a co-exhibitor and sponsor of the Lichtblicke – Faszination Holografie exhibition at the Gallery in the Old Town Hall in Prien, which opened on February 24, 2018.

In this exhibition, the company presents examples of banknotes with holographic foils and other color shift security foils from a huge range of countries across the world. In addition, it offers an insight into the production of color shift security foils and presents the latest generation of high-tech, micro-mirror-based security threads in banknotes. Passports and ID cards with holographic structures from the companies Veridos and Surys will also be showcased in the Louisenthal exhibit area.

Papierfabrik Louisenthal GmbH in Gmund am Tegernsee is a subsidiary of the G+D Currency Technology GmbH Group in Munich, whose customers include central banks and high-security printing plants all over the world. Louisenthal has a workforce of around 1,100 employees, 300 of whom work at the Königstein site near Dresden, with 55 trainees in twelve different apprenticeship programs and four dual education programs. In addition to practical, on-the-job training in operation and theoretical training in the vocational school, Louisenthal offers supplementary seminars for further development. These are modular in structure and cover training content such as presentation, moderation, ability to deal with conflict, and more. The training program also includes personnel exchange between the Königstein and Louisenthal sites.
