March 16, 2017 – For many years, Dr. Hubert Lanz has been chairman of the Federation of European Numismatic Trade Associations. In this capacity, he has achieved a lot for collectors and dealers in the political arena. Now he has handed over his office to a younger successor. Ulrich Künker, who has stood out in the last years due to his fight against the new laws on the Protection of Cultural Property, will assume the office.

The FENAP unites organisations of coin dealers in Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain and Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland. It has become evident, that especially such international organisations are ideally suited for expressing the concerns of numismatists in front of politicians.

You will find the Website of the FENAP here.

Although it is a rudimentary one, there are a German and an English entry at Wikipedia on the FENAP.
