Rev: VICTORIA AVGVSTI; Victory walking to the left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm branch with her left; S C in fields. Ref: BMC 216; RIC 197. Ex Hess-Divo 267 1996, lot 206. A particularly fine portrait and a splendid green, red and brown patina. Extremely fine. € 3,250.

Sicily. Syracuse. Hieronymus, ca. 215 BC. AR 10 litrae, 8,45 gr. Obv: diademed head of Hieronymus to the left, pearl border. Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΟΣ IΕΡΩΝΥΜΟΥ ; above and below winged thunderbolt,  bove. Ref: ANS 1028 (same dies). NM 1992 pp. 103-109. Beautiful patina. Well centered and perfectly struck. Choice extremely fine. € 2,500.

Caracalla. Rome, 206-210 AD. AR denarius, 3.25 gr. Obv: ANTONINVS PIVS AVG; laureate head of Caracalla to the right. Rev: FELICIA TEMPORA; the four seasons, depicted as boys at play; from left to right: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Ref: RIC 153; BMC  (S. Severus) 505; Hill 792. Extremely rare. Light iridescent tone. Nearly extremely fine. € 6,000.
