February 25, 2016 – Portuguese coin expert António Forjaz Pacheco Trigueiros has published an article on fake essays of Portugal’s 1910 gold Escudo. He explains how it came that even the Portuguese collection of the National Historical Museum keeps specimens which were thought to be rare essays which never existed, though.
