September 25, 2014 – On November 8, 2014, the ONS (Oriental Numismatic Society) will meet in Bremen. The meeting is organised by Dr Lutz Ilisch (Tübingen) and Christian Bruennlein and will be hosted by the Bremer Numismatische Gesellschaft. Everyone interested in Islamic numismatics is welcome.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange coins or to have uncertain coins determined by guests and professionals. Furthermore they can get to know other collectors and numismatists and discuss questions with like-minded people. The event will close with a shared dinner. Maybe participants’ families would like to shop in Bremen or to visit a museum or art gallery. Or stay in Bremen for another day and have a relaxing Sunday.
