Geneva University to inform about illegal art-trade

September 6, 2012 – On October 31, 2012 Geneva University in cooperation with the Swiss Office for Culture proposes a study day ‘Campaign against illegal art-trade.’ The event focuses on those who work in museums and the cultural scene, politicians and art dealers.
The event will be conducted by Prof. Baudoui and Prof. Esposito of Geneva University. It aims for sensibilising all persons concerned to the problem. Hence it addresses to a broad range of persons.

How do I recognize illegal objects? How can I deal with such a situation? How to communicate purchases in order to render the trade as transparent as possible? Questions like these will be in the centre of the day of study.
