December 23, 2015 – At the end of his service contract, Dr Thomas Gräbener (62) will retire from the Management of Gräbener Minting as planned on December 31, 2015. Although the mechanical manufacturing will be closed by the end of 2016, both installation and commissioning in the minting division as well as engineering development, sales and service will remain at Netphen.

As a result, fewer than the previously estimated 80 jobs are expected to be eliminated. The owner of Gräbener Minting, Schuler AG, has given a five-year location guarantee but no personal job guarantee.

As of January 1, 2016, Martin Stahlschmidt, Sales Manager for many years, and Ronny Stöcker, previously Service Manager, are appointed new Managing Directors.
