Congress on Anatolian Numismatics in Antalya

December 13, 2012 – The Suna & Inan Kirac Research Institute on Mediterranean Civilizations, an affiliate of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, organizes the “First International Congress on Anatolian Monetary History and Numismatics” on February 25-28, 2013 and will host its invited guests in Antalya, a city renowned for its natural beauty and archaeological wealth.

Numerous scholars, invited for their expertise, shall participate and present their original papers on the subject of “Coinage minted or circulated in Anatolia and Turkish Thrace, and their monetary history from the invention of coinage through the end of the Ottoman Empire.”
The Congress shall be held at Ramada Plaza Antalya Hotel and it shall be open to interested listeners.
