November 15, 2012 – On November 1, 2012 The Royal Mint has revealed its 2013 UK Bullion Range for the investment market, including the Gold Sovereign and the new specification Silver Britannia and Gold Britannia – now struck from 0.999 of fine silver and 0.9999 of fine gold respectively.

The introduction of the 2013 UK Bullion Range comes as The Royal Mint expands into the investment market. Motivated by an increasing demand for bullion – sales of Britannia Bullion have doubled in the first quarter of this financial year – the business’ growth plan aims to position The Royal Mint and its bullion products as a world leader in the investment marketplace.
