About DAMIN

July 17, 2014 – DAMIN (Dépréciation de l’Argent Monétaire et relations INternationales) is a program dedicated to the study of the depreciation of silver in the second half of the XIXth century and its consequences in developed countries.

On April 4, 2014, Georges Depeyrot presented the program at the Asian Conference on Arts and Humanities 2014 in Osaka, Japan. French numismatist Depeyrot is Director of Research at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). You may also know him from his publications for the Belgian publishing house Moneta.
